These Terms & Conditions explain the policies of macOS.pk regarding MacBook repairs, Apple parts orders, warranty, and services in Pakistan. Please read carefully before using our website or services.

macOS.pk (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides Apple device repairs, parts, accessories, and software-related services. By submitting a device, purchasing products, using our website, or approving any repair/service, the customer agrees to the following Terms & Conditions.

1) Repair Service Agreement
  • All repairs are performed on a best-effort basis.
  • Electronic devices, especially those with liquid damage, motherboard faults, corrosion, overheating, physical damage, previous repair history, or unstable components, are inherently risky and unpredictable.
  • By submitting a device for repair, the customer fully understands and accepts the risks associated with electronic repair work.
2) Diagnosis & Hidden Faults
  • Initial inspection and diagnosis are based only on visible or detectable faults at the time of checking.
  • Hidden issues may appear during or after repair, including but not limited to:
    • Short circuits
    • Dead motherboard
    • No display
    • Touch/keyboard/trackpad failure
    • Face ID / Touch ID issues
    • Charging issues
    • WiFi/Bluetooth/camera/speaker failure
    • Sudden device shutdown
    • Data corruption or storage failure
    • Additional component failure
  • Devices affected by liquid damage, corrosion, overheating, impact damage, power surge, or prior repair attempts may fail completely during or after repair, even if certain functions were previously operational.
3) Repair Risk & Liability Waiver
  • During disassembly, testing, soldering, reassembly, diagnostics, software installation, or repair procedures, additional faults may occur due to the existing condition of the device.
  • The customer acknowledges that electronic repairs can involve unforeseen technical complications beyond our control.

macOS.pk shall NOT be held responsible for:

  • Any additional fault discovered during or after repair
  • Failure of unrelated components
  • Device becoming partially or completely non-functional
  • Motherboard failure
  • Display issues
  • Battery failure
  • Face ID / Touch ID malfunction
  • Network/WiFi/Bluetooth issues
  • Data loss or corruption
  • Software instability
  • Reoccurrence of faults
  • Cosmetic marks, scratches, dents, or minor handling signs
  • Delays caused by technical complications or parts availability
  • Any issue arising after device collection unless directly proven to be caused solely by our repair work
4) Customer Acceptance
  • By handing over the device, the customer confirms:
    • The device may contain hidden faults.
    • Repair attempts carry technical risks.
    • Additional faults may occur during repair.
    • No guarantee is provided for unrelated components.
    • Repair approval means full acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
  • Collection of the device from our shop, rider, courier, or delivery partner shall be considered final acceptance of the device condition and completed service.
5) Data Responsibility
  • Customers must back up all important data before repair.
  • macOS.pk is not responsible for:
    • Data loss
    • Corrupted files
    • Lost partitions
    • Failed backups
    • Password/account issues
    • Software activation problems
  • Some repairs may require formatting, software restoration, or clean installation.
6) Warranty Policy
  • Warranty (if provided) only covers the specific repaired/replaced part mentioned on the invoice.
  • Warranty does NOT cover:
    • Physical damage
    • Liquid damage
    • Burns or overheating
    • Voltage fluctuation
    • Mishandling
    • Third-party repair attempts
    • Customer negligence
    • Software corruption
    • OS update issues
    • Normal wear and tear
  • Warranty becomes void if the device is opened, repaired, or tampered with by another technician or repair center.
7) Parts & Components
  • We may use:
    • OEM-standard parts
    • Compatible parts
    • Refurbished/original pull parts depending on availability and customer approval.
  • Removed faulty parts may be retained for testing, exchange, or warranty claim purposes.


8) Turnaround Time
  • Repair timelines are estimated only.
  • Delays may occur due to:
    • Hidden faults
    • Complex diagnostics
    • Supplier delays
    • Part shortages
    • Technical complications
  • macOS.pk is not liable for losses caused by repair delays.
9) Unclaimed Devices
  • Devices not collected within the specified period after completion notice may incur storage charges.
  • Unclaimed devices may be disposed of, recycled, or treated as abandoned after extended non-response.
10) Limitation of Liability
  • Under no circumstances shall macOS.pk, its owner, staff, technicians, management, affiliates, riders, or partners be held liable for:
    • Direct or indirect damages
    • Financial loss
    • Business interruption
    • Loss of income
    • Loss of data
    • Emotional distress
    • Device failure
    • Consequential damages of any kind
  • Our maximum liability, under any circumstance, shall not exceed the amount paid by the customer for the specific repair/service.
11) Legal Jurisdiction
  • These Terms & Conditions shall be governed under the laws of Pakistan.
  • Any dispute shall fall under the jurisdiction of the courts of Karachi, Pakistan.
12) Acceptance of Terms

By submitting a device, approving repair, making payment, signing an invoice, replying on WhatsApp, email, SMS, or collecting the device, the customer confirms that they have read, understood, and accepted all Terms & Conditions of macOS.pk.

13) Customer Conduct & False Claims
  • Customers are expected to communicate respectfully and provide accurate information regarding the device condition, repair history, liquid exposure, previous technician involvement, passwords, and reported faults.
  • macOS.pk reserves the right to refuse service, cancel repair, withhold delivery, or deny warranty claims in cases involving:
    • Misleading information,
    • Fraudulent activity,
    • Aggressive or abusive behavior,
    • False allegations,
    • Threats,
    • Defamation,
    • Harassment,
    • Or attempts to obtain free repairs/replacements dishonestly.
  • Any false accusation, public defamation, misleading social media content, fake reviews, or reputational harm caused against macOS.pk, its owner, staff, or business operations without verified technical proof may result in legal action under applicable laws of Pakistan.
  • Customers agree that no claim shall be made regarding unrelated faults, hidden issues, or post-repair complications unless independently verified with clear technical evidence directly linking the issue to our repair work.
14) Limitation of Technical Responsibility
  • macOS.pk performs repairs based on visible symptoms, technical testing, and available diagnostics at the time of service. Certain hidden or intermittent faults may remain undetectable until further use, stress testing, or future failure.
  • We are not responsible for:
    • Manufacturer defects,
    • Design flaws,
    • Apple software/firmware limitations,
    • OS update failures,
    • Third-party software conflicts,
    • Electrical fluctuations,
    • Customer misuse,
    • Environmental damage,
    • Or failures caused by aging hardware/components.
  • Repaired devices may not retain original factory waterproofing, adhesive strength, sealing quality, or cosmetic condition after opening or repair.
  • Some repairs are temporary, experimental, or recovery-based in nature, especially in severe liquid damage or motherboard-level cases. In such situations, no guarantee of long-term stability or permanent functionality is implied unless explicitly stated in writing.
  • The customer understands that successful power-on, testing, or temporary functionality does not guarantee future performance, reliability, or lifespan of the device.


15) Legal Protection, Dispute Handling & Liability Release
  • By submitting a device, approving repair, making payment, signing an invoice, replying through WhatsApp/SMS/email, or collecting the device, the customer confirms full acceptance of all Terms & Conditions of macOS.pk.
  • The customer agrees that all repair work is technical in nature and may involve risks, limitations, hidden faults, or unforeseen complications. Any dispute regarding repair quality, technical outcome, or device condition must be addressed professionally and through lawful procedures only.
  • Any attempt to:

    • Defame macOS.pk,
    • Damage the reputation of the company,
    • Harass staff,
    • Create public disturbance,
    • Use abusive language,
    • Threaten technicians or management,
    • Forcefully demand compensation,
    • Upload misleading social media content,
    • Post false accusations/reviews,
    • Interfere with business operations,
    • Visit the shop for intimidation,
    • Or spread unverified allegations in the market or online platforms,

    may result in immediate legal action.

  • macOS.pk reserves the right to take legal protection under the applicable laws of Pakistan, including but not limited to:
    • Defamation laws,
    • Harassment and intimidation laws,
    • Cyber Crime laws under FIA/PECA,
    • Business interference protections,
    • Criminal intimidation provisions,
    • And any other applicable civil or criminal laws.
  • All CCTV recordings, repair records, invoices, WhatsApp chats, emails, call records, diagnostic reports, technician notes, and customer approvals may be preserved and produced as legal evidence before courts, FIA, police authorities, or other competent forums if required.
  • If any customer threatens false police complaints, FIA complaints, social media campaigns, public harassment, market defamation, or unlawful pressure tactics without valid technical or legal basis, macOS.pk reserves the right to:
    • Respond through legal counsel,
    • File formal complaints,
    • Initiate defamation proceedings,
    • Seek damages for reputational/business harm,
    • Obtain legal protection orders,
    • And pursue all remedies available under Pakistani law.
  • Customers agree that disputes regarding repairs, warranty, technical faults, or payments shall not justify harassment, threats, unlawful pressure, or damage to the company’s reputation.
  • Any dispute shall first be attempted to be resolved through mutual discussion and technical inspection before escalation to any authority or legal forum.
  • All disputes shall fall exclusively under the jurisdiction of the courts of Karachi, Pakistan, and shall be governed in accordance with the laws of Pakistan.
